Syllabus: Information, Culture and Knowledge: the sociological and economic specificities. The economy of cultural goods. The informations role and nature in economics analysis. The Baumol Model - the models in terms of menu costs - information asymmetry, welfare, and market structure. Networks and information: the microeconomic analysis. Intellectual Property Rights, Transaction Costs and Governance. The Commons. Intellectual property rights and new forms of competition. Intangible capital and macroeconomic regulation: the new modalities of accumulation.
